Modules
This page is to display the use of the News module and inserting Smarty tags to display modules in general. A module is an extension that adds functionality to your default CMS Demo install.
To display a list of news items you insert the tag {cms_module module='news' number='5' category='General'}. In this case that tag is inserted in the template. But it can also be inserted on a page.
There are a number of parameters that can be used in conjunction with this tag. To read about how a module is used, navigate to Extensions/Modules in the Admin Panel and click on "Help" for the module you want to read about.
